Our client is a growing healthcare workforce solutions organization specializing in physician and advanced practice provider staffing. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand market presence nationwide.

This is an ideal opportunity for a true hunter who excels at opening doors, developing relationships from scratch, and generating new business opportunities without relying on established brand recognition or existing accounts.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new healthcare facility partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating opportunities, overcoming objections, and building a strong pipeline through persistent sales activity and relationship development.

This role is fully remote and offers significant earning potential through an uncapped commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target hospitals, healthcare systems, medical groups, clinics, and other healthcare organizations in need of provider staffing solutions
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns through calls, email, networking, referrals, and industry events
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Conduct discovery meetings and present staffing solutions to prospective clients
  • Negotiate service agreements and secure new client partnerships
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful placement delivery
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting within CRM systems
  • Stay informed regarding healthcare staffing trends, provider shortages, and market conditions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development, sales, or account acquisition experience within the locum tenens industry
  • Proven success selling locum tenens staffing solutions to hospitals, health systems, medical groups, and other healthcare organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of generating new business and winning new accounts
  • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting and cold outreach skills
  • Ability to open doors and create opportunities without relying on established brand recognition
  • Strong understanding of physician and advanced practice provider staffing
  • Ability to engage decision makers and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
