You'll identify new industries, customers, and applications for an established line of industrial products while working closely with sales, product management, and channel partners to grow market share across North America. Success in this role comes from understanding customer challenges, developing long-term relationships, and helping bring proven products into new markets.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across North America
  • Expand existing products into industries including data centers, diesel power generation, 3D printing, valve applications, lubrication, and oil packaging
  • Build relationships with OEMs, distributors, engineers, purchasing teams, and other key customer stakeholders
  • Develop market intelligence around customer needs, competitors, pricing, and emerging opportunities
  • Partner with Product Management to identify product enhancements and future growth opportunities
  • Support distributors and sales teams with technical guidance and joint customer development efforts
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage opportunities and customer activity
  • Travel approximately 50–60% throughout North America, typically involving 2–3 weeks per month of weekday travel with 2–3 overnight stays during travel weeks.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in business development, technical sales, product management, or application engineering within industrial manufacturing
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid power, lubrication, oil packaging, or related industry experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated professional who enjoys developing new business and opening new markets
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain it
