The Opportunity
Based in the Dallas area, this is a fully remote role focused on driving business growth across Dallas and the wider North Texas market.
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies across multiple verticals, identifying and nurturing new opportunities, and building lasting relationships with enterprise end users and key industry influencers. You’ll negotiate and close deals while working closely with Channel Sales Managers and Technical Solution Specialists to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
You’ll take ownership of key relationships with complex corporate accounts and play an active role in shaping the regional business plan. Leading from a position of insight and trust, you’ll help customers develop their security strategies while strengthening Gallagher Security’s presence across Dallas and North Texas.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to developing and delivering the regional business plan, achieving monthly and quarterly sales and profitability goals.
Prospect, generate leads, and close deals to drive new business and expand existing relationships in key verticals.
Manage key relationships with complex enterprise accounts through effective communication, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key industry influencers, and connect clients with the partners that best fit their needs.
Deliver sales and product presentations to end user clients, and work with technical experts on system designs and integrated solutions.
Prepare timely responses to RFIs, RFQs, and customer requests, and support contract renewals, pricing agreements, and service level agreements.
Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity, sharing insights with product management and marketing.
Recommend strategic business alliances and prepare regional and major account sales plans aligned with Security business strategies.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and SAP, provide timely reporting, and deliver accurate demand forecasting.
What You’ll Bring
You’re an ambitious sales professional with a focus on results, who enjoys building trusted relationships, understanding complex customer needs, and turning insight into lasting business value.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the technology or security industry.
Solution selling experience, with the ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts.
A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead complex projects through to completion.
A strong customer focus and the emotional intelligence to work well with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize effectively, with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently, with a “can do” attitude and openness to change.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, and the highest level of integrity, honesty, respect, and accountability.
