A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its Controversy practice groups. This role will lead both strategic and day-to-day marketing and business development initiatives, working closely with attorneys and firm leadership to drive client development, enhance visibility, and support practice growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead business development strategy for controversy practice groups
Manage RFPs, proposals, and client presentations
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence
Support attorney coaching and practice group initiatives
Oversee awards submissions, PR efforts, and advertising opportunities
Maintain and update marketing materials (bios, practice descriptions)
Collaborate across teams to align with firmwide marketing strategy
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required (Marketing, Communications, or related field)
6+ years of business development/marketing experience in a law firm, AEC, or professional services environment
Strong experience with proposals, client development, and strategic planning
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
