We are partnering with a growing staffing and consulting firm that is expanding its presence in the U.S. market. The company is seeking an experienced recruitment professional to build and grow a specialized market within a defined technology or industry vertical.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a mix of business development and recruitment, operates with a high level of autonomy, and has a strong track record of building relationships within a niche market.
Location: Remote (candidates must reside in the Northeast U.S.)
Travel: Occasional travel for team meetings
Responsibilities
Develop and grow a specialized market within a defined technology or industry vertical
Generate new client relationships and secure new business opportunities
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of candidates and hiring managers
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, and placement
Establish long-term partnerships with clients and candidates
Proactively identify hiring needs and position candidates in the market
Maintain consistent outreach and pipeline activity to support business growth
Manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Business Development Expectations
Actively identify and pursue new client opportunities within your niche
Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
Consistently generate new job opportunities and expand existing accounts
Leverage candidate networks to introduce new clients and create demand
Candidate & Market Development
Continuously build and maintain a strong network within your specialization
Source and engage both individual contributors and leadership-level talent
Develop a deep understanding of your market to advise clients effectively
Maintain ongoing communication with active and passive candidates
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or business development
At least 5 years of experience working within a specific niche or vertical
Proven track record of generating new business and/or managing a full recruitment lifecycle
Strong network of candidates and/or client contacts within a defined market
Ability to work independently and manage a high degree of ownership
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Background
Experience recruiting within technology or a specialized industry vertical
Familiarity with contract and/or permanent placement models
Experience working in a metrics-driven, performance-oriented environment
Tools and Support
CRM platform with extensive historical data
Access to market intelligence and prospecting tools
Internal recruiting support team to assist with delivery
Back-office support including finance, legal, and HR
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: $90,000$110,000
Uncapped commission structure
