Join a dynamic team that oversees business management and operations, rhythm of business (ROB), forecasting, and planning across various domains, ensuring that engineering and product teams build products to the highest standards.

Typical Day in the Role:

  • Own budget and forecasting activities, day-to-day ROB work, executive communications, internal communications, preparation for town halls, reporting, and orchestration of the overall budget.
  • Draft communications such as LinkedIn posts and internal/all-company emails.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a Business Management or Chief of Staff-type role.
  • Rhythm of Business (ROB) management experience at the VP or CVP level.
  • Experience directly supporting a CVP.
  • Strong budget management experience, including forecasting and variance reporting.
  • Strong internal/executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and manage stakeholders across the business.

Summary:

The main function of this role is to maintain vendor relationships, act as a business analyst for non-IT projects, or fill organizational roles above an administrative level but below a management level. Responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. This role usually reports to a project manager or director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
  • Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
  • Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
  • Set up project and work breakdown structures.
  • Establish and document business processes.
  • Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets.
  • Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field required.
  • 10 years of experience required.
