Vice President / Director of Business Development (Government Staffing)
Location: Covina, CA (In-Office or Remote)
Pay: $45/hour + Performance-Based Bonus
Health Advocates Network (HAN) / Staff Today is seeking a high-performing Business Development leader to drive growth across our government, corrections, and public sector healthcare staffing divisions.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can open doors, secure contracts, and generate consistent revenue.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute business development strategy across government and correctional markets
- Secure new direct client contracts (state, county, city, and federal)
- Drive RFP/RFQ pipeline growth and contract awards
- Generate and expand fillable orders across existing and new accounts
- Reactivate dormant clients and contracts
- Partner with operations and recruiting to convert contracts into revenue
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in public sector agencies
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of business development experience in staffing
- Government and corrections staffing experience highly preferred
- Proven track record of:
- Winning contracts (RFPs, direct clients, MSP/VMS)
- Generating new revenue and client relationships
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes
- High-level communicator with strong negotiation and closing ability
- Self-driven, competitive, and results-oriented
