    Location: Columbia, MO

     

    Position Overview

    Our Client is seeking a motivated and outgoing Marketing Representative to join its team in Columbia, Missouri.

    The Marketing Representative will be responsible for developing relationships, increasing brand awareness, generating new business opportunities, and promoting Our Client’s restoration and emergency services throughout the assigned territory.

    The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a strong sales mindset who enjoys networking, making outbound calls, meeting new people, and building long-term professional relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with insurance agents, insurance adjusters, property managers, first responders, business owners, and other referral partners.
    • Conduct daily marketing and business-development calls to generate new opportunities.
    • Promote Our Client’s restoration, cleaning, and emergency services.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, community events, client visits, and industry activities.
    • Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learns, and other business-development activities.
    • Participate in professional associations, networking groups, Chamber of Commerce events, and other relevant industry events.
    • Attend and host FOMA, Chamber of Commerce, and other local networking events as appropriate.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with multifamily communities, property management companies, fire departments, general contractors, and subcontractors.
    • Build relationships across the construction, MEP, and skilled trades industries where appropriate.
    • Follow up consistently with prospects and referral partners to generate new leads and business opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate records of marketing calls, contacts, leads, and business-development activities using CRM/marketing software.
    • Provide regular activity, territory, and revenue updates to leadership.
    • Understand and communicate the competitive advantages of Our Client’s services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and business growth.
    • Consistently work toward and achieve assigned territory activity, sales, and revenue goals.
    • Represent Our Client professionally at community, business, and industry events.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
    • Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience preferred.
    • Experience in marketing, business development, outside sales, or relationship-based sales.
    • Strong communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
    • Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business.
    • Ability to establish and maintain long-term professional relationships.
    • Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
    • Experience in restoration, cleaning, insurance, property management, construction, or related industries preferred.
    • Experience using CRM or marketing software preferred.
    • Willingness to travel locally for client visits, networking events, meetings, and marketing activities.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Compensation & Growth

    • Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually

    Work Environment

    • Field-based position requiring local travel throughout the Columbia, MO area.
    • Regular interaction with clients, referral partners, businesses, and community organizations.
    • Ability to work around restoration and cleaning environments when visiting job sites or customers.
    • Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.
