We are on the lookout for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Business Development Director to join our team in the Healthcare Industry. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to play a vital role in our company's growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to increase our market share, improve our market position, and achieve sustainable financial growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
2. Foster and maintain positive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
3. Oversee and manage the entire sales process within the assigned territory.
4. Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and monitor industry trends.
5. Lead and coordinate the admissions process to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues promptly.
7. Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs to promote our services and enhance our brand image.
8. Develop and implement strategies for census development and revenue growth.
9. Negotiate contracts with managed care organizations and other entities.
10. Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve their potential and deliver results.
11. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective hospital marketing strategies.
12. Work closely with healthcare operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
3. Proven track record in healthcare sales leadership and territory management.
4. Strong knowledge of physician relations, managed care, and healthcare operations.
5. Exceptional skills in strategic planning, market analysis, and census development.
6. Proven ability to negotiate effectively and drive revenue growth.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills with a capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
8. Excellent account management skills with a customer-focused approach.
9. Strong community outreach skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
12. Ability to travel as needed.
