    Were looking for a Business Development Director - Financial Services to join our team in the Northeast USA.

    In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new logo acquisition within the financial services sector across North America, in a pure new revenue, hunter-focused role concentrated exclusively on generating new business and expanding EPAMs footprint with new clients.

    You will operate as a market-facing industry seller with strong fluency in financial services, including capital markets, banking, asset & wealth management and fintech, leveraging a deep understanding of sector trends, challenges and buying behavior to identify, engage and convert new enterprise clients. You will position EPAM as a strategic transformation partner across key priorities such as digital, cloud, data and engineering.

    This role requires a strong focus on net-new revenue generation, building industry-led propositions and expanding EPAMs footprint through high-value, consultative engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify, pursue and close net new business opportunities within the financial services sector, meeting or exceeding revenue targets

    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to win new logos, leveraging EPAMs digital, cloud, data and engineering capabilities

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using industry knowledge, personal networks and market research

    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, proposal development and contract negotiation

    • Collaborate with EPAMs delivery, technology and alliance teams to align solutions with client needs and ensure successful deal closure

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and client challenges to position EPAM as a strategic partner for IT modernization and digital transformation

    • Represent EPAM at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads

    • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and reporting

    Requirements

    • 10-15 years of experience in IT sales / business development with a strong focus on financial services clients

    • Proven track record of acquiring net new logos and exceeding sales quotas in the financial services industry

    • Deep understanding of financial services trends and technology/partner solutions including AI, cloud, digital, big data, analytics, core engineering and legacy modernization

    • Strong consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills with an established network in financial services

    • Experience leading complex, multi-discipline technology services deals for large enterprise clients

    • Established network across capital markets, banking, asset & wealth management and fintech stakeholders and decision-makers

    • Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and navigating complex organizations

    • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred

    • Strong communication, negotiation and commercial acumen

    • Flexibility for travel as needed in a remote-based role

    • English - Native / Fluent (required)

    Nice to have

    • Existing relationships with decision-makers at financial services institutions in the Northeast US

    • Experience with fintech partnerships or alliances
