Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join its Charlotte, NC office. This position provides support to the Business Development Management team, as well as the firm’s lawyers and other client-facing professionals. A significant amount of time will be dedicated to assisting with pitches and proposals and coordinating and assisting with tickets and conferences.
What You’ll Do:
- Support practice, individual, and client-specific business development efforts in collaboration with business development managers and attorneys.
- Support conference planning activities, including reviewing and researching attendee lists, coordinating, and tracking meetings, and coordinating post-conference follow-up.
- Coordinate research with Competitive Intelligence team on clients, prospects, practices, and industries in collaboration with BDMs and attorneys.
- Track client development activity as directed, including wins/losses, pipeline, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date representative experience for use in pitches and proposals, awards, and rankings, as well as on bios and for external promotion.
- Manage library of approved firm content such as practice overviews, attorney bios, and other materials.
- Manage firm ticket inventory, and distribute tickets to attorneys and clients, and host attorneys and clients at ticketed events as assigned.
- Provide general administrative and event support to the team as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing or a similar role within a professional services firm.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Copilot).
- Knowledge of CRM, proposal generation, and experience management technology preferred.
