Qualifications:
BS degree in industrial engineering or other related areas. Experience in applicable industrial sales in this area accepted in lieu of a degree.
Successful track records in sales with quantifiable measures. 5+ years of sales experience preferred Must be goal oriented
Keen knowledge and ability to work with clients in need of custom machining service and industrial parts applications
Ability to travel as needed.
Excellent verbal and written skills. Microsoft Office and CRM package experience
Position Summary
This employer is seeking a sales executive to develop business and sell services for a highly successful machining business in Houston TX. This role develops new clients in the industrial, aerospace and oil and gas companies who have a need for customized machined parts. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with machining and working with clients who use machining and or fabrication services
Key Responsibilities
Make contacts with new clients. Keep the communications and follow-up via the web, meetings, trade shows and conferences and social media.
Keep in close communication with the internal estimators regarding RFQ status and provide input as needed. Be available for communications via TEAMS with clients, vendors and outside services.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to implement new sales and work with existing clients to implement new custom designs required by clients.
Understand the pricing structure and strategy used for each client. Be aware of strategic decisions while working in a competitive market.
