Description

Role:: Business Data Analyst III
Location: 100% Remote- Fort Belvoir, VA
Schedule: 6+ Months contract  

Note -Might need to travel to Fort Belvoir, VA occasionally but not frequent - Travel expenses covered

Job description

The Business Data Analyst should understand DoD business enterprise architecture, application ownership, user population, and access-request processes. DLA experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

  • DoD Business Enterprise Architecture experience is important.
  • DLA experience is a significant advantage because it provides familiarity with: DLA environment/Acronyms/Existing processes/Application ownership/User populations/Access-request processes
  • Current/recent DLA experience is particularly valuable.
  • Ideal candidate understands:Who owns an application./How users are populated /How users request access/General application/access workflows.
  • Approximately 4–7 years of experience.
  • No additional education requirement should be added beyond what is specified in the labor category.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of applications currently supported within the IDAM environment
  • Collaborate with application owners to inventory and evaluate existing authentication structures
  • Define and implement appropriate identity integration patterns
  • Support workflow integration and migration activities
  • Develop specifications, checklists, and migration approaches for various application categories
  • Support SAML-based integrations and migration efforts into Okta
  • Configure and manage attributes, roles, and group structures
  • Provide hands-on engineering support throughout implementation and transition activities
  • Contribute to strategic architecture and design decisions for the future environment 
  • Migration of approximately 400 applications currently managed within the legacy IDAM platform
  • Transition from DLA systems to DISA systems
  • SAML authentication and Okta integration
  • Identity governance, access management, and application onboarding
  • Hands-on engineering and implementation focus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have expert experience in working with the DOD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA).
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project management, Power Point
  • Relevant experience with the current DLA Enterprise Architecture solution (as of Dec 2021, the solution is MEGA HOPEX).
