Kforce's client, a growing and mission-driven organization located in the San Antonio, TX area, is seeking an experienced Business Controller to lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and government contract accounting activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Oversee financial performance analysis, profitability reporting, cash flow, working capital, and variance analysis
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial controls
- Support contract pricing, audits, compliance requirements, and government contracting activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA, MBA, or Big Four experience preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), IFRS, and U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
