    About the Opportunity:

    The Business Continuity Analyst (BCA) is part of Global Information Security's Enterprise Business Resilience function and plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness and continual improvement. The successful candidate will bring strong Business Continuity experience and the ability to operate independently in a complex, global environment.

    The role requires close collaboration across business and technology functions and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, promote consistent implementation of Business Continuity requirements, and contribute to the continued maturity of Business Continuity capabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    Business Impact Analysis

    • Facilitate Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) with business stakeholders to assess the operational, financial, regulatory, legal, reputational, and client impacts of business process disruptions and establish appropriate recovery requirements and process criticality based on the timing and severity of those impacts.
    • Work with business stakeholders to document business process information, including process ownership, personnel performing the process, operating locations, supporting technology, suppliers, and other relevant dependencies.
    • Review BIA information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency and support timely updates following material changes to business operations or supporting dependencies.

    Continuity Planning

    • Partner with Business Continuity Owners and other stakeholders to develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and review them for completeness, consistency, and alignment with approved BIAs, recovery objectives, and established Business Continuity requirements.
    • Provide guidance and effective challenge to support the development and maintenance of appropriate recovery strategies, procedures, workarounds, and other recovery arrangements.
    • Coordinate and facilitate Business Continuity testing and exercises, including planning, scenario development, execution, and documentation of results.
    • Evaluate testing outcomes and work with stakeholders to identify observations, issues, lessons learned, and improvement actions.

    Training and Awareness

    • Support the development and delivery of Business Continuity training, including supporting materials, for business stakeholders and personnel with assigned Business Continuity responsibilities.
    • Promote ongoing Business Continuity awareness through stakeholder engagement, communications, exercises, and other program activities.

    Program Monitoring and Continual Improvement

    • Monitor Business Continuity program activities, including BIA and BCP completion, testing and exercise activities, and other program requirements.
    • Support the preparation and maintenance of Business Continuity metrics and program reporting.
    • Track Business Continuity issues and corrective actions identified through BIA and BCP reviews, exercises, incidents, assessments, and other program activities, and support their timely remediation and escalation in accordance with established requirements.
    • Contribute to the continual improvement of Business Continuity methodologies, standards, procedures, tools, and supporting guidance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Continuity, operational resilience, or related discipline, with hands-on experience in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity planning, recovery strategies, and testing, and exercises.
    • Demonstrated experience supporting and implementing Business Continuity and operational resilience programs in alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standards, including knowledge of ISO 22301 and relevant global regulatory frameworks such as DORA, MAS, and SEBI.
    • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate business requirements, assess disruption impacts, identify dependencies, and translate complex information into practical Business Continuity requirements and solutions.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across business and technology functions.
    • Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement and supporting the implementation of program enhancements.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Professional Business Continuity or resilience certification, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), preferred.
    • Experience within financial services or another highly regulated global organization, with familiarity with cybersecurity, technology resilience, and Disaster Recovery concepts, preferred.
    • Experience with Business Continuity Management (BCM) or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms preferred.
