Title : Business Attorney , Employment Location : National (U.S. Remote) Job Description : JOB SUMMARY The Business Attorney, Employment's primary job responsibility is to provide counsel to the firm's business clients, including with respect to entity structuring, development and implementation of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions, development and implementation of business succe ssion plans, and employment law matters, with a particular focus on advising clients regarding employment -related legal issues. JOB DUTIES • Serves as the primary point of contact for the firm's business clients • Uses legal expertise to assist in the firm's business clients as described in the job summary above • Displays a positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a rapidly changing environment REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS • Juris Doctorate • Licensed and in good standing with the bar of at least one state • 7+ years of business law experience • Ability to present complex planning and transaction concepts to clients • Ability to draft and review documents with a great degree of accuracy TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
