Position Overview
The Business Applications Analyst II–Communication& WebPlatformswillbe responsible forthe administration, maintenance,andtechnicalsupport ofassigned applications and processeswithin our organization, including analyzing andoptimizingoperational processes. Your primaryobjectivewill be to develop business requirements, implement technical solutions based on business requirements, and provide technical support onassigned applications.
As a Business Application Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence,optimizingapplications, implementing technology solutions to drive organizational improvement,ensuring the security of applications,and enhancing overall productivity within the organization. Your analytical mindset, technical skillset, attention to detail, and ability to streamline processes will contribute to the success and growth of the company.
Responsibilities
AnalyzeApplications & Processes: Conduct thorough evaluations of existingapplicationsand business processes toidentifyinefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Business Requirements: Work with key stakeholders to develop business requirements and translate those requirements into technical requirements.
Change Management: Ensure change management processis followed includingevaluating risk of the change,appropriatetestingof the change, and effective communication with business users.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingother ITteamsand business departments, to understand theirrequirementsandidentifyopportunities for process enhancements.
Documentation: Create detaileddocumentationfor applications includingprocess maps, flowcharts,diagrams, user guides, and technical guides.
Implementation: Coordinate andfacilitatethe implementation ofnew technologysolutions and changes to existing technology services, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and minimaldisruption.
Industry Trends: Keepup-to-datewith industry best practicesandemerging technologiesto drive innovation, increaseefficiencies, and enable business growth.
Performance Measurement:Establishperformance benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness ofapplications andidentifytrendstodevelop actionable insights.
Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with business stakeholders for assigned applications including leading regular user group meetings and ensuring user feedback is added for future improvements.
Technical Management: Provide advanced technical supportand subject matterexpertise(SME)forassigned applications.
Testing:Develops, documents,andmaintainsuser acceptance test scripts; performs user acceptance and other functional tests; andassiststracking and coordinating user acceptance testing.
Training and Documentation: Createstraining materials, user guides,SOP’s,KB’s,and process documentation to ensure standardized workflow practices and support organizational knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, operations management, ora relatedfield.
2+years experienceas a Business Application Analystorsimilar role.
2+years experiencein a hands-ontechnical rolesupporting andimplementingcommunicationand webplatformssuch asContentStack,WPEngine, GitHub,Vercel, WordPress, Social Media platforms,or other comparablewebtechnologies.
2+years experienceprovidingTier 2/3hands-onapplicationtechnical support.
Strong technical knowledge and abilityto own a technical issue until resolution.
Strong documentation skillsincluding experience creating application knowledge base articles, diagrams, and guidesfor technical staff and end-users.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationand vendors.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
2+years experiencedeveloping business requirements and translating those requirements into technical requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations
Proficiencyin process mapping tools and methodologiessuch as Visio.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing small tomedium-sizedtechnology projects.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge ofInformation Technology Infrastructure Library(ITIL) 4.

Base Pay
$75,000.00 - $103,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
