Business Applications Analyst
Position Summary

The Business Analyst assists in managing projects and system maintenance of a specialized department within the Office of the Controller (CO). Assists in identifying and interpreting newly defined requirements of financial and information systems, and participates in the maintenance, upgrade, and improvement of the systems.
Responsible for data and process integrity, the Business Analyst provides system and process expertise for departments, both within the CO and campus-wide, regarding finance system related needs.
Work Modality
This position is "remote-friendly", with the expectation of on-campus presence periodically. This is typically referred to as "Hybrid", with the flexibility of regular remote work mixed with in-office work as mutually agreed upon with the supervisor.
Salary Expectations
Salary is commensurate with experience.
What You'll Do
System Support Functions (40%)
Support for ongoing or recurring tasks that support both end user and central offices on behalf of the Finance and other CO systems:
Projects/Initiatives Functions (35%)
Tasks related to enhancements, upgrade and scope change requests:
Operations Functions (15%)
Other (10%)
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in business, management information systems, or related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in the business functional area and/or enterprise software development and/or testing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
