Overview
We are seeking a Business Application Developer to join a growing organization focused on improving business operations through technology. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building and supporting applications, optimizing databases, automating processes, and partnering with stakeholders to solve business challenges.
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining business-critical applications while helping drive efficiency through technology and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using C# and .NET.
- Enhance and support existing desktop and enterprise applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Collaborate with end users and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Create reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Participate in application deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues.
- Document solutions, processes, and technical specifications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- C#
- .NET Framework / .NET
- SQL Server
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Database design and development
- Experience developing and supporting custom business applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WinForms applications.
- Experience with DevOps practices and application deployment.
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of business process automation and workflow optimization.
- Exposure to reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Manufacturing, operations, or industrial business experience.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies.
