Job Summary
The Business and Finance Administrator for the Office of the President coordinates the department's financial, operational, and administrative functions. This role collaborates with the University's Director of Fiscal Affairs to execute accurate budgeting, reporting and financial planning, while ensuring compliance with state regulations and institutional policies and procedures. Serving as a key liaison among departments and stakeholders, the position promotes efficient operations, resolves complex issues, and provides financial and business support to units such as Government Relations, Intercollegiate Athletics, Internal Audit, University Counsel, University Compliance, and University Marketing and Communications.
Core responsibilities include monitoring budgets and expenditures, maintaining financial records within the institution's ERP system, processing payments and contracts, managing procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures. The position also oversees personnel-related processes, including vacancy, stipend, audit, and hiring approvals, while handling highly confidential information with discretion. Other duties are performed as needed in collaboration with both the Chief of Staff and the Special Assistants to the President to support the strategic goals of the Office of the President
