Business Analyst with EDI

Optimizes Operations results by identifying and analyzing business requirements and operations; conducting performance studies; identifying key business metrics; developing and calibrating analytical, recommending process improvement priorities; identifying low-cost designs, materials, processes, and sources; evaluating new technologies. 10% Identifies opportunities for processing operational improvements by analyzing current operations; preparing cost/benefit analyses; developing business cases; recommending process improvement priorities.

Our client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Business Analyst with EDI for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Optimizes Operations results by identifying and analyzing business requirements and operations; conducting performance studies; identifying key business metrics; developing and calibrating analytical, recommending process improvement priorities; identifying low-cost designs, materials, processes, and sources; evaluating new technologies. Lead and mentor lower level Analysts.
• 20% Assesses adequacy of current processing operations by identifying and analyzing business requirements and operations; conducting performance studies; interviewing and conferring with operations personnel.
• 20% Determines processing performance measures by identifying key business metrics; conducting benchmarking initiatives; developing and calibrating analytical, comparing operational models.
• 20% Contributes to processing and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results. Lead and mentor lower level Analysts.
• 10% Identifies opportunities for processing operational improvements by analyzing current operations; preparing cost/benefit analyses; developing business cases; recommending process improvement priorities.
• 10% Supports process improvement programs by providing continuing measurements, analyses, and recommendations; developing new business models; identifying low-cost designs, materials, processes, and sources; evaluating new technologies.
• 10% Maintains processing operations guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
• 10% Prepares processing operations analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Education Details: Business Administration or related field
• Experience: 4 years progressive experience as a Functional Analyst OR
• 6 years experience in (level 2 or above) operational role.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
• 10+ years experience in an operations role preferred
• Knowledge, skills and abilities (ksas)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications, Expert
• Ability to create graphics and report to non-technical audiences., Expert
• Self-starter and ability to collaborate in a team environment., Expert
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal., Expert
• Demonstrates necessary leadership attributes to lead projects while keeping operational leadership informed. , Advanced
• The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Client programs.
• Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.
• Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
• Knowledge about 834 file layout, data analyzing, testing, expert in excel, good communication skills.
