    Description:

    CTG is seeking to fill a resilient, detail-oriented Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with strong Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) experience and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role will support banking regulatory reporting initiatives, including Call Reports and FR Y-9C, while serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and development/vendor teams.

    Duration: 4 months

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze banking regulatory reporting requirements, business rules, and functional requirements.
    • Analyze source systems, data structures, relationships, and reporting requirements.
    • Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and investigation of data issues.
    • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage, data definitions, and business rules.
    • Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, process analysis, and requirements analysis.
    • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops.
    • Create business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and supporting documentation.
    • Partner with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, business users, technology teams, and vendors.
    • Support SDLC activities from requirements through testing and implementation.
    • Translate complex business needs into clear requirements for development teams.
    • Support user acceptance testing and resolution of requirements-related issues.
    • Ensure requirements and documentation remain accurate and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Business Analysis and ADM experience.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
    • Banking or financial services experience, preferably regulatory reporting.
    • Knowledge of Call Reports, FR Y-9C, and related banking regulatory requirements.
    • Strong SQL skills.
    • Requirements gathering, documentation, and functional analysis.
    • Experience with impact analysis and gap analysis.
    • Process mapping and use case development.
    • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to effectively bridge communication between business and technical teams.
    • Experience working with development and vendor teams.
    • Data analytics, ETL, and business intelligence are not part of this role.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

    • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
