Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Westlake, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions, enabling automation of document intake, data extraction, and downstream operational workflows.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR/ML, and AI-driven automation initiatives.

• Translate business needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional requirements for Agile development teams.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution delivery.

• Define requirements for document intake, data extraction, payload generation, integrations, APIs, and downstream automation processes.

• Support testing, implementation, and post-deployment activities by validating solutions, resolving issues, and ensuring business objectives are achieved.

• Use JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools to track requirements, manage documentation, facilitate communication, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst supporting technology, operations, or process automation initiatives.

• Strong experience in Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, business process analysis, user story creation, backlog management, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.

• Exposure to Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR/ML technologies, AI/GenAI-driven automation, document workflows, data payload generation, APIs, or enterprise integration projects; experience in financial services environments is preferred.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
