As a Senior Business Analyst, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems while delivering and implementing technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology teams to create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, as well as translate business requirements into technical requirements to help the team deliver business solutions with the highest customer value. The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Health Solutions Business Analyst Chapter, which supports product development across multiple healthcare domains. The BA works on a cross-functional Agile Scrum team (Squad), collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to develop and implement digital product and service features in healthcare applications from inception to delivery. These squads continue to bring new healthcare capabilities to digital experiences within web and mobile applications.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3–5+ years of Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with proven ability to work across multiple cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of healthcare, benefits administration, and/or product development.
Proven expertise in business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
Solid understanding of the architecture and deployment required to support web development.
Experience working closely with Subject Matter Experts and business partners to elicit product requirements.
Experience working with UXD teams to support prototyping.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management and testing tools.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for the team's backlog.
Ability to understand complex customer needs, translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and drive solution development with a cross-functional team.

Identifying and defining solutions to business problems through creation and documentation of system and process specifications.
Creating, documenting, and managing the Scrum team backlog, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, and facilitating backlog refinement sessions.
Collaborating closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and QA throughout planning, requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, including documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedures, creating and delivering solution training, and preparing communications.
Prioritizing multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks simultaneously.
