ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the development of a new automation application and framework. This role will serve as the critical bridge between Business and Engineering, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements that Engineering can successfully deliver against.

This is a requirements-driven BA role, rather than a traditional Scrum or sprint-focused Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will own requirements throughout the full lifecycle, from initial discovery and BRD development through engineering execution, QA validation, stakeholder sign-off, and final delivery.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

As a Business Analyst, you will partner closely with Business stakeholders, Engineering, UX, and QA to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, understood, and delivered.

You will gather and refine business requirements, eliminate assumptions, and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical documentation for Engineering. Throughout development, you will maintain alignment between Business and Engineering, clarify requirements, communicate blockers and dependencies, and ensure changes or tradeoffs are properly documented and agreed upon.

You will also partner with QA to validate that the application meets the original requirements, support final demonstrations and stakeholder reviews, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks from discovery through delivery.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (TOP 3 MUST HAVES)

1. End-to-End Requirements Management

• 5–10 years of BA experience owning requirements from discovery through delivery.
• Strong experience translating BRDs/business needs into functional and engineering requirements.

2. Business-to-Engineering Translation

• Proven ability to act as the bridge between Business and Engineering, eliminating assumptions and clarifying requirements.
• Experience identifying gaps, dependencies, technical constraints, and necessary tradeoffs before execution.

3. Stakeholder Alignment & Mediation

• Experience resolving misalignment between Business and Engineering around requirements, scope, and feasibility.
• Ability to drive decisions, secure stakeholder sign-off, and maintain alignment through delivery.

NICE TO HAVES

• Technical aptitude with experience supporting POCs or engineering discussions.
• Experience partnering with QA to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Jira, Agile/Scrum, timeline management, and application development.
