Business Analyst

Position: Insurance Business Analyst – Guidewire PolicyCenter (Auto, GL, Workers' Compensation)
Location: Schaumburg, IL (Onsite/Hybrid – as required)
Duration: 6 Months
Experience Level: 7+ years overall | 3+ years with Guidewire PolicyCenter
US Citizens, GC visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in the commercial insurance domain.

3+ years working with Guidewire PolicyCenter (v9 or above).

• Strong knowledge of Auto, GL, and Workers' Compensation products and processes.
• In-depth understanding of policy lifecycle transactions (new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Guidewire integrations, digital portals, and rating engine configurations.
• Knowledge of ISO, NCCI, or state-specific insurance rules.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements for commercial insurance lines.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, or migration projects from legacy systems to Guidewire.
