Roles & Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state claims processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Collaborate with business users, SMEs, developers, QA teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, enhancement, integration, and upgrade initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution reviews.
- Work closely with testing teams in preparation of test scenarios, test cases, and UAT execution.
- Assist in data mapping, data conversion, and integration requirements involving claims systems.
- Ensure solution alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support production releases and post-implementation activities.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in P&C Insurance Claims Operations and Systems.
- Strong understanding of:
o First Notice of Loss (FNOL)
o Claims Intake & Assignment
o Coverage Verification
o Claims Investigation
o Reserves Management
o Payments & Recoveries
o Litigation Management
o Subrogation
o Salvage
o Claim Closure
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter is mandatory.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong knowledge of claims business processes and insurance workflows.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire ClaimCenter certification preferred.
- Experience with Guidewire integrations and ecosystem applications.
- Familiarity with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
- Exposure to cloud tr ansformation and digital claims modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools.
