Business Analyst

Summary:

• Location: Salem, NJ
• Duration: 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial analysis of SAP cost data.
• Extract, clean, and prepare cost data from SAP for analysis by others.
• Complete related duties for the monthly close.
• Support financial budget/LRP planning.
• Utilize strong skills in SAP, Access, and Excel.

Requirements:

• Ability to extract information from various sources and systems, integrate/summarize into reports using Excel and/or Access, validate, and analyze results.
• Strong ability to manipulate data, data mine, and translate complex financial data into decision inputs for business recommendations.
• Ability to design integrative reports using advanced Excel functions and/or other data query-driven tools.
• Develop, build, and maintain dynamic financial models for financial budgeting and reporting.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Technical financial and managerial accounting skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and PC applications (MS Office Suite, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and presentation skills in Finance/Process Management.
• Understanding of general accounting practices.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management.
• Ability to apply managerial accounting concepts and present and explain information to associates with financial and non-financial backgrounds.
• Ability to develop creative solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Understanding of SAP FI/CO.
