Description

A financial services firm is seeking a Business Analyst for a remote consulting opportunity supporting a cyber risk register initiative.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

Facilitate discovery, current-state, requirements, validation, and prototype review sessions with business and technology stakeholders
Document business processes, use cases, open decisions, assumptions, and requirements traceability across workstreams
Translate stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized, and testable functional, workflow, data, governance, and reporting requirements
Define register fields, business definitions, data relationships, and reporting inputs across risks, controls, owners, metrics, and remediation activities
Support process mapping, source mapping, and future-state planning for the cyber risk register initiative

Qualifications:

Experience eliciting and documenting business, functional, workflow, governance, data, and reporting requirements
Strong workshop facilitation, process mapping, data definition, traceability, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to translate complex risk and technology concepts into clear requirements and testable outcomes

Desired Skills:

Experience with cyber risk, operational risk, GRC, financial services, or regulated environments
Experience with ServiceNow or a similar risk intake and tracking process
Experience using process maps, wireframes, prototypes, and future-state documentation to support user acceptance scenarios
