Position: Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst with good experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain, particularly on the Policy Administration side. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of insurance policy processes and hands-on exposure to Duck Creek, preferably with experience working on Duck Creek Policy.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to P&C Insurance and Policy Administration.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
Understand end-to-end policy lifecycle processes, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
Support requirement analysis, impact assessment, gap analysis, and solution discussions.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented.
Participate in functional testing, UAT, and defect triaging.
Support stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Good experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
Strong understanding of the Policy Administration / Policy Management functional area.
Must have knowledge of Duck Creek, preferably Duck Creek Policy.
Some hands-on experience with Duck Creek is required; extensive or in-depth technical expertise is not expected.
Good understanding of policy lifecycle processes and insurance business workflows.
Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and functional analysis.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
Exposure to Duck Creek configuration or implementation projects.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of integration points between policy administration and other insurance systems.
