JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).
The contractor(s) will provide subject matter expertise for SAP S/4HANA, specifically within the FICA module. Responsibilities include reviewing and providing recommendations on key design artifacts, technical artifacts, and business process designs; supporting configuration of billing and invoicing processes; and helping standardize and redesign processes as part of a Greenfield SAP implementation.
2. What does a typical day look like?
Attendance at regular stand-up meetings; participation in workshops (on-site as required); completing follow-up work, reviews, and deliverables from workshops remotely; collaborating closely with internal business counterparts and system integrators; and supporting SAP-related questions as the team progresses through implementation phases.

Highly collaborative, multi-vendor, cross-functional environment. While the role operates as an individual contributor, success requires strong teamwork and the ability to work across multiple workstreams and vendors.
7. Can you elaborate on any potential risks or safety considerations associated with this role, particularly if the responsibilities extend beyond a standard desk or office environment?
No unique safety risks identified. Travel may be required to corporate headquarters locations, but not to power plants, substations, nuclear facilities, or field job sites. This is primarily an office/remote-based role
9. What are the work hours/shift (standard, evening, full time/part time, OT required, on-call for 24/7 operation)?
Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week
Monday through Friday
Core business hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time
Candidates may reside in any U.S. time zone but must be available during Mountain Time core business hours
Occasional work outside standard hours may be required based on project needs
1. What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications (technology/application/software, etc.) required?
SAP S/4HANA experience (required)
SAP FICA expertise (required)
Utility industry experience (required)
Experience supporting at least two SAP implementations (Greenfield and/or Brownfield)
Billing and invoicing process configuration experience in SAP
Candidates should have deep implementation experience rather than primarily sustainment/support experience.

10+ years of relevant SAP implementation experience
At least two SAP implementation projects completed
Strong SAP FICA specialization
Utility industry background
Experience working on transformation initiatives and Greenfield implementations

Primarily remote
Candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S.
Primary alignment is Minnesota
Travel required to corporate headquarters as needed
Headquarter locations may include Nicollet and T3 facilities
Approximately 25% travel expectation (about one week per month or as needed based on project phase)
Analyzes non-IT business problems and articulates requirements to support process improvement opportunities. Creates framework for assessing financial payback. Identifies alternative solutions and makes recommendation. Prepares documentation of current and desired state. Develops requirements and builds a common understanding between process owners and solution developers. Role demands ability to assess process performance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in preparing ROI statements for proposed investments.
