Business Analyst (Non-IT) | Peoria, IL | Onsite

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a team supporting a strategic enterprise data product that drives supply chain, procurement, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible opportunity for a business analyst who enjoys collaborating across business and technical teams while influencing the delivery of critical enterprise solutions.

Location: Peoria, IL (Onsite, 5 days/week)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Schedule: First Shift, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Pay: $41 - $43 an hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, IT teams, developers, testers, and external technology partners.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and requirements discussions.
  • Manage and refine product backlogs, enhancement requests, and change initiatives within an Agile environment.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, release validation, deployment readiness, and stabilization activities.
  • Investigate incidents, defects, and data issues while supporting resolution efforts and stakeholder communications.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, training materials, FAQs, status reports, and release communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications or digital products.

  • Strong experience with:

  • Requirements elicitation and documentation

  • User stories, process mapping, and acceptance criteria

  • Agile backlog management and change request processes

  • UAT coordination, defect management, and production support

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, testing groups, and external vendors.

  • Ability to work onsite in Peoria, IL five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supply chain, procurement, product data, PLM, engineering BOM, manufacturing BOM, or sourcing data.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, MRP, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
