Business Analyst (Level II)

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize daily workload while maintaining accuracy. Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.

Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Analyst (Level II) for their Houston, TX/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform trade validation by reconciling trades and ensuring accurate system booking.
• Process trade amendments to correct booking errors and maintain accurate trade records.
• Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting activities as required.
• Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and support broader team priorities as needed.

• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle.
• Two to three years of commodities experience preferred.
• Experience with an ETRM system, such as Endur Openlink, preferred
• 4-5 years of commodities experience
