Description

Our client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Analyst (Level II) for their Charlotte, NC/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ops Professional Markets  provides Daily processing and timely execution of Syndicated lending support across Global Markets Loan Operations,  The role focuses on driving high-quality, timely execution, supporting complex lending activities, processing and reconciliation of loan positions, and ensuring adherence to established procedures, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • This position partners closely with internal stakeholders, Technology, and external clients to support operational execution, client onboarding, and platform enablement. The role is the key point of contact for client lending activities, payment processing and loan onboarding. 
  • Role requires clear communication, issue escalation, and troubleshooting, while supporting fast paced high volume and complex transactions. 
  • The role requires strong operational judgment, risk mitigation, execution discipline and timeliness, and the ability to work through change, shifting priorities, and evolving client and business needs, while supporting complex transactions and client-impacting activities.
  • Review Credit Agreement and Lending documentation for complete and accurate deal set up  in System of Record, Pricing Templates, Risk and Global Loan Booking
  • Coordinate daily workload, prioritize tasks, and support resolution of complex funding requirements, lender reallocations payment processing
  • Review daily client deal requests and process transactional activity timely and accurately per deal and Front office requirements
  • Manage heavy external client-facing communication, including escalation management, troubleshooting, and ongoing relationship support
  • Support new client/deal/facilty onboarding to the platform, including education, readiness, and transition to steady-state operations
  • Partner with internal business partners, finance and other operations teams to support daily activites and trasnactions onbarding.
  • Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort
  • Participate in system enhancement testing and static data validation and partner with Technology through development, testing, and implementation
  • Participate in and support business continuity testing and resiliency exercises for supported platforms and processes
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and risk management standards
  • Review Daily, weekly monthly reporting and breaks management, adhere to escalation and timely resolution of aged breaks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Technology, Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Finance) to support audits, testing initiatives, and control assessments
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Syndicated Lending experience
  • Strong understanding of operational processes within a financial services or regulated environment, knowledger of Operational Risk
  • Candidate will be able to manage own time, self motivated and work unsupervised and know when to escalate.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
  • Risk minded approach with the ability to identify issues, apply controls, and escalate appropriately
  • Client focused mindset with confidence in supporting client facing interactions when required
