Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)

Job Description 

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis & Workflow Mapping
  • Facilitate meetings with business and technical teams to understand operational processes
  • Document current and future state workflows, process maps, and system interactions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Create detailed documentation including workflow diagrams, SOPs, and process narratives
System Integration & Data Flow Analysis
  • Analyze and document system integrations and data flows between enterprise applications
  • Identify dependencies, integration points, and system interactions
  • Work with technical teams to understand APIs and data exchange mechanisms
  • Assess risks and gaps related to integrations
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements
  • Develop BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and traceability matrices
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation for development teams
PMO Support
  • Assist project managers with tracking tasks, deliverables, and documentation
  • Support multiple concurrent IT projects and PMO activities
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business units, technical teams, and leadership
  • Facilitate workshops and ensure alignment on requirements and project goals
Testing & Implementation Support
  • Assist in test planning, test case development, and UAT activities
  • Validate system functionality against business requirements
  • Support implementation readiness and deployment activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or enterprise systems
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing system integrations and data flows
  • 5+ years of experience gathering and documenting business/functional requirements
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Strong experience with APIs, system integrations, and enterprise data exchange

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Experience with enterprise system implementations or modernization initiatives
  • Proficiency with process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
