Job Announcement

This position works with IT management supporting the development and administration of business, strategic training plans, and related activities managing support resources.

Specific duties include:

  • Participates in the development, testing and implementation of automated forms, tracking applications, FOCUS, NEOGOV, CRM, and other systems to include social media to meet agency needs, and provides related end user training.
  • Participates in identification and development of systems, apps and web capabilities that support the business of the Department of Information Technology (DIT), utilizing systems such as Microsoft PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Forms, Teams, Planner, and Sharepoint; documents requirements, analyzes business processes and recommends improvements.
  • Assist in developing guidelines and policies.
  • Works with IT managers and directors on workforce, resources, projections and program measurements.
  • Supports the human resources manager with conducting analysis of employee related data such as labor information, compensation and related personnel budget matters.
  • Works on other special project task forces and committees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:

Bachelors degree in business, computer science or a field related to the department where the information technology services are being used; plus six months of experience analyzing business processes and/or developing/maintaining the main business system, technical platform or a related system.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in identification and development of systems, apps and web capabilities that support the business such as DIT.
  • Experience with data mining SAP, PEAQ and NEOGOV.
  • Experience with HR strategic planning and conducting HR data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working with IT professionals and knowledge of the dynamics of an IT workforce and employment trends.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis, turnover reports, succession planning and developing process improvement plans.
  • Proven experience sourcing IT data to improve business processes.
  • Understanding of and experience with HR processes and experience supporting HR programs.
  • Experience managing, maintaining, and/or processing confidential information in a SAP application
  • Experience building process automation using Microsoft PowerAutomate, Flow, Forms, OneDrive, and Sharepoint
  • Experience creating PowerBI datasets and customizing reports and visuals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is generally sedentary, performed in a normal office environment. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
