Title: Business Analyst

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Houston, TX (Primarily Remote; Local Houston Area Candidates Preferred)

Pay Range: $78,897 - $95,056 Annually ($43.64 - $52.58/hr)

Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, customers, program leadership, and software development teams. This role will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, gathering requirements, evaluating solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience working in Agile environments, translating business objectives into technical requirements, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to identify business needs and process improvements.
  • Develop user stories, use cases, workflows, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams.
  • Partner with developers, engineers, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Perform gap analysis and evaluate opportunities for product, process, and system enhancements.
  • Support planning and coordination of multiple projects, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource impacts.
  • Facilitate project meetings, requirements reviews, and solution discussions.
  • Track project status and communicate updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support testing, user acceptance activities, and solution validation.
  • Assist with change management, implementation planning, training, and adoption efforts.
  • Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making and project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
