Business Analyst – ETRM Implementation (Aligne to Orchestrate)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale ETRM transformation initiative as the organization transitions from Aligne to Orchestrate. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, and Accounting to gather requirements, document business processes, support testing, and ensure successful implementation of the new platform.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define future-state processes.
  • Analyze current Aligne workflows and support the transition to Orchestrate.
  • Develop process documentation, user stories, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
  • Coordinate and support UAT activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation.
  • Assist with data validation, reporting requirements, settlements, and operational workflows.
  • Support training, change management, and user adoption activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting ETRM/CTRM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Aligne, specifically within the Reporting and/or Back Office modules (required).
  • Experience working on ETRM implementations, migrations, or major enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, settlements, accounting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Energy trading industry experience, preferably within power, renewables, or ISO markets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Orchestrate, Endur, RightAngle, or similar ETRM platforms.
  • Experience supporting Front, Middle, and Back Office business functions.
  • Knowledge of power markets, renewable energy trading, and energy accounting processes.
