Title: Business Analyst - Equity Plan Administration (EPA)

Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in Equity Plan Administration (EPA), Record Keeping, Employee Stock Plans, and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design, and delivery for equity compensation platforms within a large financial services environment.
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of employee equity compensation programs, financial reporting requirements, and modern technology ecosystems including Oracle, Azure, and UI-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Equity Plan Administration, Record Keeping, and Employee Equity Compensation processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to elicit and validate requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support solution design, implementation, validation, and UAT activities.
- Collaborate with development teams working on Oracle, Azure, and modern web-based platforms.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements walkthroughs, and solution review sessions.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Support financial reporting and regulatory reporting requirements related to employee equity programs.
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, reporting validation, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, offshore teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist in large-scale modernization and transformation initiatives involving equity compensation platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 8-15 years of Business Analysis experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Equity Plan Administration (EPA)
- Employee Stock Plans
- Stock Plan Administration
- Equity Compensation Platforms
- Record Keeping Systems
- Extensive experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting processes.
- Experience supporting equity compensation programs and reporting requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
- Experience working with:
- Oracle
- Azure
- UI-based Applications
- Database Technologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
