Your Role in our Mission:
 
The Business Analyst partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify business needs, analyze processes, and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and overall business performance. This role leads requirements gathering, conducts in-depth data analysis, and drives alignment across departments to ensure technology and process solutions support strategic objectives. The Business Analyst plays an active role in revenue operations across sales, marketing, and customer success functions, owning key analyses and contributing to improved reporting, pipeline visibility, and process optimization. By translating data into actionable insights, supporting system enhancements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, this role helps enable informed decision-making and measurable business outcomes.

Some of Your Responsibilities & Core Duties will be:


  • Own the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements by working directly with stakeholders to support project initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Lead process analysis efforts, documenting current and future-state workflows and proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process maps, user guides, and standard operating procedures, ensuring clarity and usability for business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions to elicit requirements, align on business needs, and support solution design discussions.
  • Support and contribute to system-related projects, including coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), validating results, and ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Manage CRM system activities (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), including configuring basic elements, maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and providing user support.
  • Take ownership of data quality initiatives, monitoring data across systems, driving data hygiene processes, and addressing inconsistencies in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights and support business performance tracking.
  • Analyze sales pipeline, conversion metrics, and performance trends, translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Produce and present recurring and ad hoc analyses, delivering clear insights and narratives tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Utilize SQL and other tools to independently extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting and business questions.
  • Define and document data definitions, sources, and reporting methodologies, ensuring consistency and governance across analytics assets.
  •  Perform and oversee data validation and quality checks, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency in reporting outputs.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and contribute to implementing workflow enhancements and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting, alerts, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across business functions.
  • Troubleshoot system and data issues independently, serving as a key liaison with IT and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Create training materials and deliver user enablement sessions to support adoption of systems, tools, and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, dashboards, and data assets, ensuring accessibility and usability.
  • Stay current on system updates, tools, and best practices, proactively recommending enhancements to improve business capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modeling), Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, with the ability to manage data, generate reports, and support basic configuration.
  • Experience using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to design and deliver dashboards and insights.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis concepts, with the ability to use SQL or similar querying tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data independently.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and functional specifications, and partner effectively with technical teams to support solution delivery.

    Education and Experience:

    Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven experience leading requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for business and system initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales and operational data, develop insights, and build reports and dashboards that inform business decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements and solutions.

    Preferred:
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), including configuration, reporting, and user support.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B environments, with exposure to revenue operations practices.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau), with the ability to independently extract and analyze data.
  • Experience with revenue operations tools, data platforms, or system integrations.
Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times 
  • Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries 
  • May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
