Client is seeking a mid-level ITS Business Analyst to support vendor-delivered technology projects and selected internal application initiatives. The Business Analyst will lead requirements activities, coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, and support communication, training, UAT, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary BA on vendor-led projects, facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements clarification.
• Convert business needs into clear, testable requirements including BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Partner with vendor PMs and solution architects to confirm scope, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
• Develop or contribute to communication plans for releases and changes.
• Partner with business owners to create training plans, training assets, schedules, train-the-trainer materials, and job aids.
• Coordinate UAT planning, UAT scripts, feedback, and defect tracking through closure.
• Gather and refine requirements for internal application enhancements and minor projects.
• Participate in production support, including issue triage, defect reproduction, expected-behavior clarification, and bug documentation with steps-to-reproduce, logs, and business impact.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams.
• Support smooth adoption of technology solutions through effective communication and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an IT/ITS Business Analyst or similar role such as Systems Analyst or Product Analyst.
• Experience with requirements gathering and analysis.
• Experience creating BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience working with vendor PMs, solution architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
• Experience with UAT planning, test scripts, defect tracking, and feedback management.
• Experience supporting production issues, defect triage, and bug documentation  
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be local to Denver, Colorado and able to work onsite every Tuesday at the Client location.
