Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Denver, CO 80203 (Hybrid; candidate must be local; mandatory onsite attendance every Tuesday)
Pay rate: $53.57 - $61.43
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST - 8.0 hours/day, 40 hours/week;
Assignment Dates: 10/01/2026 – 07/31/2027

Overview
The Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendor project teams, and internal IT groups for vendor-delivered technology solutions and internal application initiatives. This role manages end-to-end requirements gathering, assists with change management (communications and training plans), leads UAT execution, and provides tier-2 production support and bug triage.
Job Specifications- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and ongoing requirements gathering for vendor-led and internal IT projects
- Author and refine functional project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
- Partner with vendor Project Managers and Solution Architects to align on scope, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests
- Develop communication plans and collaborate with business owners to build training assets, schedules, and job aids
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, draft test scripts, manage feedback loops, and track defect resolution
- Provide production support by triaging reported issues, reproducing bugs, clarifying expected behaviors, and documenting detailed bug reports with logs and steps-to-reproduce
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as an IT/ITS Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst required
- Local to Denver, CO with ability to be onsite every Tuesday required
