Business Analyst

Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking a Business Analyst.

Summary: The Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into technology solutions. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating system design efforts, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions. The Business Systems Analyst partners closely with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements
• Coordinate the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems and technology solutions
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned business areas, including operational processes and supporting technologies
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, process mapping, and solution design discussions
• Develop test strategies, create test cases, execute system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Validate system functionality to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
• Identify, document, and resolve system issues while coordinating with technical teams to implement solutions
• Support system implementations, enhancements, and post-production activities
• Prepare and maintain business and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, test plans, and user guides
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
