Role: Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months
Pay range: $50-$60/hr C2C
Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience or strong domain knowledge in digital assets, stablecoins, tokenized money and blockchain/DLT-based financial solutions.
The candidate will work with business, product, technology, architecture, operations, risk and compliance stakeholders to define business requirements and support the design and implementation of digital-asset solutions.
Given the emerging nature of this space, candidates with strong experience in payments, money movement, clearing and settlement, combined with exposure to digital assets, will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify and define use cases involving stablecoins, tokenized deposits, digital assets and blockchain/DLT.
- Gather, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria and solution requirements.
- Analyze payment and settlement lifecycle, including transaction initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation and exception management.
- Support use-case definition for areas such as:
o Stablecoin-based payments
o Tokenized deposits
o On-chain/off-chain money movement
o Domestic and cross-border payments
o Treasury and liquidity use cases
o Settlement and reconciliation
o Wallet-based transaction flows
- Work closely with architects and developers on integration requirements between digital-asset platforms and existing banking/payment systems.
- Facilitate workshops with business, product, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders.
- Support definition of operational controls, reconciliation processes, exception handling and reporting requirements.
- Understand regulatory, AML/KYC, privacy, security and audit considerations relevant to digital-asset solutions.
- Assist with POCs, business cases, solution assessments and production-readiness activities.
- Track requirements and ensure traceability through development, testing and implementation.
Required Experience
- Business Analysis/Product Analysis experience within banking, payments, fintech or financial services.
- Experience or strong working knowledge of digital assets, blockchain/DLT, stablecoins or tokenized deposits.
- Understanding of end-to-end payment and settlement processes.
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills.
- Experience working between business and technology teams.
- Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear business requirements.
