Position Summary The Business Analyst will provide dedicated analytics and reporting support for a credit union's card portfolio, with particular focus on a new card program. The goal for this role is to develop a deep understanding of the portfolio and become a trusted partner for reporting, analytics, and business questions related to the new card program. Responsibilities will include responding to ongoing business questions, developing and refining reports, analyzing portfolio performance, and translating data into practical, data- informed business recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and reporting capabilities with card- services expertise, business judgment, and the ability to work independently with business stakeholders. An additional opportunity for the role is to help streamline and simplify existing reporting that is currently lengthy and complex. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Demonstrated experience developing, refining, and maintaining business reports Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret results and identify meaningful business implications Strong business judgment and the ability to translate data into practical, data- informed recommendations and to provide thought partnership Knowledge of payments, card services, or card portfolio management Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to ongoing business questions Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners Strongly Preferred Qualifications Experience with DataChoice, First Data, Symitar Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AI coding or development-assistance tools (e.g., Claude Code) Experience simplifying or automating recurring reporting processes Experience supporting a card-product launch or portfolio optimization initiative Analytical Skills Ability to analyze quantitative information, identify trends and performance drivers, interpret results, and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and business recommendations.
