Business Analyst - Albany, NY (Hybrid - Onsite 2 Days/Week)

Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through direct stakeholder engagement
- Develop detailed use cases, process flows, and both current-state and future-state workflows
- Create, standardize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation
- Manage and maintain recurring report schedules and inventories for operational efficiency
- Create and update report documentation, including definitions and business rules
- Ensure timely, accurate delivery of recurring reports and validate outputs with stakeholders
- Maintain audit readiness through comprehensive documentation and adherence to reporting standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or a related field
- 3-7+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Proven track record in gathering and documenting requirements and processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a client-facing environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and reporting platforms
- Exposure to public sector or government projects
- Advanced process mapping or workflow optimization experience
