About the Role The client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for complex data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or enterprise application implementation, and must be adept at delivering clear project documentation and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Translate business and system requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
- Support data modernization efforts, especially within Azure-based environments.
- Collaborate with agile delivery teams, technical staff, business partners, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain documentation across all project phases.
- Conduct UAT planning, script writing, and testing.
- Identify and track project risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Required Skills and Experience (Minimum 5 Years Each)
- Experience in business systems analysis for medium to large-scale projects.
- Hands-on work in data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or enterprise application implementation.
- Ability to lead and document effective requirements-gathering sessions.
- Proficiency in translating requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and integration techniques.
- Ability to write and execute UAT test scripts.
- Familiarity with risk management and mitigation documentation.
- Experience tracking requirements through the SDLC.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Visio, Draw.io, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- 5+ years contributing to data modernization initiatives in Azure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft data engineering tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Experience using Power BI for data visualization.
- 4+ years of experience in the elections domain.
