The In-Room Dining Bus Person is responsible for supporting exceptional guest service by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency within the In-Room Dining operations at Wynn Las Vegas. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless luxury experience by ensuring guest trays, delivery equipment, and service areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Working behind the scenes and in guest corridors, the Bus Person must demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and professionalism while supporting service staff in a high-volume, fast-paced luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
In-Room Dining Service Support
Collect, clear, and transport in-room dining trays, tables, and service equipment promptly from guest hallways and rooms (as permitted)
Ensure all collected items are handled carefully and returned to service areas efficiently
Assist servers and assistant servers with staging and preparation for deliveries
Maintain awareness of active delivery timelines to support smooth service flow
Guest Experience Support
Interact with guests in a courteous, professional, and discreet manner when encountered in hallways or guest areas
Respond promptly to guest requests or direct them to the appropriate team member
Maintain a polished and respectful presence that reflects Wynn's luxury service standards
Support an uninterrupted, high-quality guest experience through efficient and quiet service
Cleanliness, Sanitation & Organization
Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining stations, dish areas, and storage spaces
Ensure hallways and service corridors remain clear, clean, and presentable at all times
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations consistently
Operational Readiness
Stock and replenish service areas with necessary supplies including linens, dishware, condiments, and amenities
Assist with opening, running side work, and closing duties with attention to detail
Support inventory awareness and communicate any shortages or needs to leadership
Service Coordination & Team Support
Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and coordinators to ensure timely service
Respond quickly to requests from the In-Room Dining team
Assist with lifting, transporting, and staging equipment needed for large or VIP orders
Contribute to a cohesive, team-focused environment
Compliance & Brand Standards
Adhere to all Wynn grooming, uniform, and appearance standards
Follow all departmental procedures and Forbes Five-Star luxury service expectations
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when working in guest areas
Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting Wynn's commitment to excellence in all interactions
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2+ years of experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or food & beverage preferred
Experience in luxury or high-volume environments strongly preferred
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
Knowledge & Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Professional demeanor with strong guest service awareness
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Licenses & Certifications
