BUS DRIVER

CANTON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

4 hours per day

The below lists are not ranked in order of importance

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• must have valid Commercial Driver's License with school bus endorsement
• must have a school bus driver certificate from Stark County Board of Education
• must have ability to take directions, possess good public relations skills and ability to work well with others as judged by Transportation Supervisor
• must have strength and dexterity to handle all labor tasks connected with job
• must have an acceptable background check and complete all required personnel records
• must have a good record of punctuality and demonstrate building average attendance

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

• must be a positive voice with other staff members at all times
• must be prepared for change, even if it comes at a faster than desired pace
