Job Summary

• Adult Medical Daycare has immediate openings for full or part time drivers to transport members.  Looking for someone who ensures adherence to safety rules, and able assist members in boarding or exiting, as necessary. Preferred to have a New Jersey CDL Driver’s License but not necessary.  

General Accountabilities

• Drive multi-passenger vehicles to transport members.
• Picks up and drops off passengers at designated locations, following time schedules.
• Maintains knowledge of first-aid procedures.
• Complies with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintains order among passengers during trips to ensure safety.
• Checks the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
• Reports any bus malfunctions or needed repairs to Transportation Director.
• Keeps bus interiors clean for passengers.

Job Qualifications

• Bi-Lingual Must speak  English and Spanish
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures
• Service orientation (experienced with assisting elderly and disabled persons)
